What a mess! Especially one query runs very slowly when connected to MS SQL ver. 5. When using the build-in Access database the query runs in 3 seconds. When connected to MS SQL with the same data in all tables, it takes 3 minutes! When I paste and copy the query from Access to SQL Server Management Studio Express as a project, I get the result in less than 3 seconds! Why? Why doesn’t Access let MS SQL do the work?
