Invalid object name ‘%1!’.

Severity level:
16.

Description:
This error message appears when you try to reference an object that does not exist in the current database.

Consequences:
The T-SQL statement can be parsed, but causes the error at runtime.

Resolution:
Error of the Severity level 16 are generated by the user and can be fixed by the SQL Server user. In this case you need to correct the reference to this invalid object.

Versions:
All versions of SQL Server.

Example(s):
SELECT *
  FROM Northwind.dbo.Orderss

Remarks:
This is a pretty frequently occuring error as a simple typo is sufficient to raise the error. In our example the Orderss table name was incorrectly typed and caused the error.
