Using The Transfer Jobs Task in SQL Server Integration Services


7.       In this example, choose Overwrite as the selection for IfObjectExists option, and also choose True as the value for the EnableJobsAtDestination option. Finally, click OK to save the changes in the Transfer Jobs Task Editor. In the Control Flow window you will be able to see the tasks as shown in the snippet below.

8.       Finally,  execute the package by right clicking the TransferJobsTask.dtsx package from the Solution Explorer and select the Execute Package option from the drop down list. Once the package has successfully executed you will be able to see the below screen within the control flow designer.

9.       Once the package has executed successfully, you can execute the below mentioned TSQL code to verify whether the SQL Server Agent Job  “Products Database Backup”   has been successfully transferred from the source SQL Server 2005 instance to the destination SQL Server 2008 instance.
