SQL 2000 and SQL 2008 tools on same machine

Wanted to see if anyone had an issue installing both SQL 2008 MS and SQL 2000 EM on the same box. is there a conflict?

    Thanks

Re: SQL 2000 and SQL 2008 tools on same machine

I have installed, all three versions (2000, 2005 and 2008) in my PC. So far I have seen any issues.. I had an issue some time back, when I uninstalled SQL Server 2000, 2005, started giving errors (missing dlls) I reran the installation of 2005, and it got resolved. This time I installed 2000 after installing 2005 and 2008 (in the order) but it works fine. I do not know whether

I have installed both on my box, and although the instances run fine Enterprise Manager does not work anymore. I think it is possibly due to either an MCAD or .NET framework conflict.

This isn't a big issue though, because you can access the SQL 2000 instance through SSMS.
