Hi

 We have a job to load data into the database. The job has few steps with one of step as Data load which executes a DTS package for loading. The job is scheduled to run daily @ 12:00 AM.

 The issue is that from last 3-4 months it has been observed that the job fails once in a month on friday.What could be the reasons for it. Any thoughts??

There may be many reasons...it is not possible predict based on you have provided.

Make sure you add the job output file to the job step and see what is causing if you can't understand post the output here, someone will take look and give the possible reasons.

Reasons could be: Network issue, blocking, server not available, db maintenance etc...
