Execute SSIS Package From SQL 2000

I need to execute SSIS package from SQL Server 2000. Is there any way? Looks like, I can not use "Execute Package Task" in DTS to call SSIS package.

    Thanks,

    Alim Mia

SSIS is introduced in SQL 2005 and you will not be able to perform from a SQL 2000 instance, you could use DTS within SQL 2000 instance.

    Couple of points here.

    1. You are replying to a thread that is more than 1 year old (your other reply so far is to a thread more than 2 years old). I'm not sure the original poster will read it anyway.

    2. This is an international forum. Some here are native english speakers, some, including me, are not. Please respect this and keep it in mind when you reply next time.
