Severity level:16.
Description:This error message appears when you try to insert rows via the OUTPUT INTO clause into a table for which a CHECK constraint for one of ist columns exists.
Consequences:The T-SQL statement can be parsed, but causes the error at runtime.
Resolution:Errors of the Severity Level 15 are generated by the user and are corrigible by the user. The statement cannot be executed this way. You must remove the constraint and/or rule before you can successfully execute such a statement.
Versions:This error message was introduced with SQL Server 2005.

Remarks:This error can easily be circumvented by a change of the programm logic and the addition of a staging table, for example.
