Unable to Enlist in the Transaction
When running a SSIS package with several data flow task which are designed to run in parallel and if all the Data flow tasks TransactionOption property is set to the Required value you may receive the following error:
Description: The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D00A "Unable to enlist in the transaction
Solution
This error occurs because the DTC service cannot handle multiple transaction effectively.Therefore, you need to re-design the data flow tasks to run one after the other.
