SQL Server Performance

Across database Constraint

    Hi all,
    Is it possible to create foreign key constraint across database?
    If pubs database having authors table, will i create the references from nortwind.

    can u pls help me out for this situation?

    I suspect it uses triggers, the FAQ on the website is a bit evasive in the "how does it work?" question.

    Not sure you such triggers must be "instead of" - "for" will work just fine.
