Adding new tables to the existing replication

I am using SQL 2005 Replication. I have the replication already setup with 5 tables. I wanted to add 2 more tables (with 20 million rows) to the existing replication. My question is:

1. Is it possible to initialize the subscriber with only the 2 tables added? I don't wanted to reinitialize the existing 5 tables.
2. Is there any other way to initialize the subscriber without impacting the performance on the publisher?

Any suggestions is much appreciated.
