    Hello,

I have a system running Windows XP Professional with SP2. I have installed on the system, the SQL Server 2000 (SP4), Analysis Server and the antivirus (McAfee AV + Personal Firewall Plus). My problem is that, when trying to connect to the Analysis server from console I get the message: "Cannot open conection to Analysis server... The server is either not started or too busy". The SQL service manager shows that the service is started, my computer is not on a domain and the OLAP service is started under the local system account. I mention that when starting the service, the computer "freezes" for a few seconds, until the service is started. This doesn't seem right also.

    What is the problem?
