I just came across something which tells following.
    1. ANSI Standard Syntax for JOINS (INNER JOIN, LEFT OUTER JOIN or RIGHT OUTER JOIN)
    2. -- is ANSI stanard to comment the code in your SQL scripts not /* */
    3. As for column alias is ANSI standard for column alias and = is not e.g. FullName = Last_Name + ' , ' + First_Name is not ANSI Standard
    4. CAST is ANSI Standard function for data type conversion not CONVERT function.
I agree on first point but not sure about remaining three points. I tried to search to get this kind of list but no luck so far.
It would be of great help if someone can share information on SQL ANSI Standard List or any web resource.
    Thanks

INNER JOIN, LEFT OUTER JOIN or RIGHT OUTER JOIN are ANSI 1999 standard
Cast and Alias are also ANSI 1999
ANSI 1999 part2 (the standrard is 5 parts) can be found in:
    http://www.cse.iitb.ac.in/dbms/Data/Papers-Other/SQL1999/ansi-iso-9075-2-1999.pdf
sql server 2005 and 2008 support ANSI 1999 plus extra syntax not available in the standard
