SQL Server Performance

Anybody recently took the 70-431 exam?

    Hi ,

    Anybody recently took this exam. Is it different from the previons SQL Exams. Ms has more simulation question for the new exams. Is the SQL 2005(70-431) also simulative questions?

    I've taken the exam, and I took it's predecessor as well. This one was more technical in nature, with less design questions. Atleast the exam I took.

    Hi
    may i know MCTS Exam contains how many quastions and what is the duration? what percent is pass mark ?
    what are the best prctices to achive this exam as you achived it please let me have idea ?

    (a) How many questions - around 40
    (b) Duration -180 mins
    (c) % pass mark - 700 out of 1000
    (d) Best Practices - If you have sql server experience, i think no need to go for coaching and all. But you must practice all the new features of SQL Server 2005.

    Hi Madhu Sorry i am putting more quastions ??.
    That means not exactly number of quastions and each quastion carries different weightage of marks?does this exam is multiple choice?
    now i am going through book implementation and maintanance for MCTS is that ok to get basic idea for this exam.

    You don't need to know exactly all kinds of properties. However, in order to save exam time and efficiently use it, you need to know where to click and look for some properties either directly or indirectly asked in question text.

    Simply nothing except scratch pad and calculator. No mobile phones, no PDAs, no pencil-paper, no bags...
