    Hi there,
We are planning to apply Service Pack 2 for SQL Server 2005 servers. We have Active - Passive clustering.
Is there anything we need to be carefull about. I am concerned about switching the services to another node after applying SP to first node because there will be a difference between configuration of two nodes at that time. One will be running on SP 1 and other on SP 2.
    Thanks in advance!

I don't think you need to switch the services or failover, SQL Server itself will manage the stuff; refer the blog post here http://www.sql-server-citation.com/2009/04/patching-ms-sql-server-cluster.html

Why choosing SP2 for SQL 2005 when you have got SP3 released?
It will be always a good practice to read about README.HTML from the service pack files to see what is changed and what could affect your enviornment.
If you can make sure you test the application fully and replicate the cluster environment, if possible,.
