SQL Server Performance

    A friend of mine has just showed a new SQL Server tool to me.

    Aqua Data Studio is a database query and administration tool.

    It supports IntelliSense, so I guess I will start using it instead of Query Analyzer, since version 2.0.7 is free even for commercial use. I'll let you know what it's worth.

    Two main problems that I've discovered so far:

    1. In comparison to Query Analyzer, ADS is slow - it takes ages to start it; executing a query takes more time.

    2. The freeware version (2.0.7) does not work correctly with aliases.
