    Hi,
since last week i am facing problem running the log reader during replication(transactional). The error reads as follows -
"Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type int. The step failed."

Due to this error the log reader starts and stops. It fails.
Please let me know how can i rectify the problem, please do suggest a work around so that i can get my replication task completed.

Check this KBAhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/servicedesks/bin/kbsearch.asp?Article=307533 is any relevant to the issue.

And this is happening replication agents take a long time to complete their work. The agent time statistics are stored in the the agent history tables of distribution db, in the form of milliseconds.

So, if an agent takes a long time to complete, the number of milliseconds won't fit in the integer filed of the history tables. Check thru why its running slow from network point of view.
