Hello friends, I am not sure which forum is right for a question I have, hopefully it is this one. Recently I had hot discussion with company software architects about using "Natural" primary key. The forum veterans probably know my opinion that using natural key is road to disaster. I collected pretty good collection of arguments, so I started thinking about writing an article. However, my guess is that there must already be a handful of articles about the topic. So I would appreciate a link to a good article, so I can refer to it in similar occasion or if I find i have more/better arguments to offer, I might still write my own article. Mirko.
Hi Mirko, hope you're doing well! [] Plenty of articles out here, now it only depends on your definition of "good". For example: http://sqlblogcasts.com/blogs/tonyrogerson/archive/2006/05/11/427.aspx http://www.intelligententerprise.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=201806814 http://www.dbdebunk.com/page/page/857309.htm But you might also want to search the microsoft.public.sqlserver.programming newsgroup for A LOT of discussion.
