In SQL 2000, it is possible to generate a script in code by using scptxfr.exe.

    More details here:

I have read on the web that this functionality is not included in SQL 2005. I need help with the following:

    * Can anyone confirm or deny this?

    * Can anyone suggest how I can automate the process of generating a script for all objects in a database in SQL 2005?

We may not know until 2005 RTM whether it is entirely replaced in SQL 2005 or else any other feature will be taking care of this task.
