Hi all i wanted to know wat effect does the byte ordering scheme has on the AWE ...i mean wat is the effect of Big endian and Little Endian byte ordering schemes on AWE.... Can somebody help me out of this... Regards Suleman Hyderabad
??? none if you are using SQL Server, if you are running you own C code program, still AWE does not change byte orderings
On the system performance byte ordering scheme effectively combines the readwrite and swap operations into one set of functions. Can you explain a bit more where exactly you want to use this facility.
