When you're registering to this forum there is no column asking about birth date, so I believe back to old drawing board and make amendments to initial form in order to get it work.

I just checked the forum setup. There is a place to enter your birthdate, but it won't display it, only your age. I turned in on for fun. I guess if you want to enter your birthdate, you can enter it under one of the other available options, like your interests. My birthdate is 11-19-1957. Ouch!

Hi Brad i din't get you on this, how do i enter the b'date and have you planned to flash it for others to see when that day comes.[^]
  23. FrankKalis Moderator

You can't do this in Snitz, AFAIK. Like Brad said, can you activate a setting "Birthday" or "Age" (have forgotten what it's called). ONce this is activated, when a members opens his profile for editing, he'll see "Birt Date". There you can select your birthday and save this information. However, this birthday will not be shown. Instead of this, will a calculation be shown, that presents the current age in years when someone views the profile.

Ranjitjain, did Frank's response help you out. Unless I write some code, there is no way to automatically flash a member's birthdate.

This is really a nice idea and i think forum team should implement it and

one thing is there that .......

"3363 of 7748 Members have made 40536 posts in 22 forums"

    provided by forum team only...

This clearly means that not all will participate in this idea........

    What do you say???????????????

You'll find this in all communities. There are always much passive members than active ones. I have no idea why this is so, but I think it's easier to lurk in the shadows and just consume what others produce than to step out of the dark and produce something yourself.
