Here are some highlights of what we are looking for:

Accountablities:
Develop, test and document ETL (Extract Transfer and Load) procedures designed by the Database Architect using SQL Server Integration Services as the primary ETL engine.
Develop, test and document ProClarity Briefing Books to deliver OLAP analysis data to the business.
Develop, test and document banded reports and drill through detail queries in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services fulfilling the functional requirements of the business using T-SQL and MDX.
Design and develop OLAP cubes in Microsoft Analysis Services.
Convert existing reports from Actuate to Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
Perform ongoing maintenance on production reports in response to feature requests and help-desk tickets.
Work closely with the Database Team to improve and leverage the design of enterprise data stores and assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the data warehouse.
Implement proactive measures to ensure auditable, accurate information is delivered to business users on time.
Serve as a point-of-contact for questions regarding the quality of the business information our team provides, and follow up with the appropriate teams to resolve the problems we identify during our investigations.
Work with the database administrators and systems support teams to manage enterprise report servers, including report production, delivery and security.
Provide support for reporting issues outside of regular business hours.
Responsible for implementing and adhering to approved security controls, procedures and management of technology in support of the Credit Card Security, Technology Department Security, and Computer Use & Electronic Communications policies.

Experience and Skills
5 years business intelligence development experience at an enterprise level using VLDB (very large databases) and data warehouses
3 years OLAP business intelligence development experience
Ability to communicate at both business and technical levels.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with the capability of creating detailed professional technical documentation.

Very strong T-SQL
MDX
OLAP
ETL development and quality techniques
Familiarity with accounting an asset
Familiarity with Telecommunication environment an asset
MS-SQL Server 2005
SQL Server Integration Services
SQL Server Reporting Services
Data warehouse skills.
.NET language (preferably C#, optionally VB)
ProClarity or other OLAP viewer an asset
Actuate eReport development and eReport server administration an asset.
ASP an asset
