Calculated measure format lost in Excel PivotTable

Hello All,

I have a cube in ANALYSIS SERVER with formatted Calculated measures. When I try and connect an Excel PivotTable to the cube, all the calulated measure formats are lost. Why is that? How can I propagate the cube formats into the Excel PivotTable so I do'nt have to keep on formatting in Excel?

Hi Frank,

How do you plan to use this excel file do you want to publish it on a site.
If yes then you can use OWC components and use frontpage to show the pivot by using active x control properties.
