Hi, I am in process of testing Reporting Services in SQL 2005. I have installed Beta version of SQL 2005. OS is win 2003. I am creating the report using Report Project wizard. Report is created successfully. I can preview the Report. But cannot view the full fledged report in IE browser as it normally comes up.The Report server specified is :http://remote servername/ReportServer It gives following error while deploying the report The Report Server cannot open a connection to report server database. A connection to database is required for all requests & processing. Regards Riya
Use the Surface Area Configuration tool and enable TCP/IP and named pipes. Are you launching IE from another machine/are you using the report project wizard under the same windows account?
