Cant start Mirror

Hi all,
i hve setup mirror on 2 servers with 1 witness sitting on the mirrored server. i am using local accounts instead of Domain accounts to start the SQL Server Services. I have setup the same local account with the same password on both the main and the mirrored server. I have created the endpoints,but got an error when starting the mirror."Cant connect to TCP://Server,, etc"
I have even change to Domain Accounts having rights on all Servers. I am running SQL 2005 SP1. on win 2003 R2
Any Advice?
