Catalog Information for Offline Cubes no longer there

    Hi All,I have tried to access an offline cube with a third party tool and it does not connect to it.
    I was told that the cube does not contain catalog information.
    Does anybody know if this catalog information has been removed from recent versions of MS AS 2005 or Excel when creating offline cubes???

    To solve this, use the MOLAP storage mode. To check what storage mode you have, use either SQL Management Studio or BI Development Studio. With SQL Management Studio, use the properties dialogs to check each dimension, cube and partition. With BI Development Studio, connect to the database in online mode (File -> Open -> Analysis Services Database).
