While trying to register a remote sql server instance to my machine, I am getting error telling SQL Server Does not exist or access denied. ConnectionOpen(Connect())
However I am able to register other sql servers on my machine. I have verified that the SQl server exists and I am using proper credentials. I have seen that Firewall is off on that server. In the Netwrok properties of that instance, TCPIP port it is displaying is 0. I changed it to 1433 but that also didn't help. Am I missing something? What else should I try for this?

KBA to refer and review the stated causes to resolve.
