CONTAINS keyword in SQL Server

My Dear Good Friends,

Please be good enough to help me saying how would I able to use the contains in SQL server, would anyone able to help me and say, what is the most appropriate way for using the contains keyword.

When I am using the contains with a #table or a table variable, am getting the below error.

"Msg 7601, Level 16, State 2, Line 15

Cannot use a CONTAINS or FREETEXT predicate on table or indexed view '#drop' because it is not full-text indexed."
