Continuous Backup

    I got this link this morning from sswug.org newsletter. Thought I would share this with the team-

    The article mentions a new strategy for high availability. Have a look its worth it...

    Looking at the topics that I recieve daily, I would recommend subscribing to daily news letter from sswug.org. It has lot of informative stuff..

    Good article, but sometimes I don't believe third party tools to take care of critical part of SQL Server data such as BACKUPs and other maint. tasks.

    Not too enthusiastic either about the issue of continous backup, I would say that I doubt if it would be really be worth the investment for small to medium-sized databases.

    Anyone thought about the performance implications of continous backup?

    It would have to have some performance impact, but I don't know how much. I don't if the extra costs justifies it over proven backup methods.
