i created a database called db1 and i used an alter statement to increase the size of the model database to 10 mb
later on i want to create the schema db to the model database
would it just be create schema db?

Whatever size you set on the Model database will be transformed automatically to the new databases as and when they are created, later all the other options must be taken care individually.

As Satya said the model database is used as a "Model". Meaning setting/object you associate with the model database are used when creating any new database. So if you want to have a set of roles, sp's, tables, users, schema to be in every new databases, can create them in the model database once. And then everytime you create a database those object will be created in the new databases. Same goes with database settings.
