SQL Server Performance

Cube from one table_portable cube

    I have two questions:
    1. I have a table that will end up with being about 20million rows. Can I build a cube from one table?
    2. Can I make a cube portable (like a Cognos cube), if so how?

    Welcome to the forums.
    1. yes why not if you have relevant dimensions built up.
    2. can you explain the term portable, as I'm not sure on Cognos side of it.

    Cognos allows you to build a cube and save it with an mdc extension. I then can send the cube via email or FTP and another person can open it up in excel (power play addin).
