Cumulative update package 3 for SQL Server 2008 is released

    Build 10.00.1787 (cumulative update) for sql 2008 is released in january 19, 2009
    for info about hot fixes that are resolved by that release review: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960484/
    download from: http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=960484&kbln=en-us
    All released CU:
    • Build 10.00.1787 (cumulative update): This cumulative update package was released on January 19, 2009.
    • Build 10.00.1779 (cumulative update):This cumulative update package was released on November 17, 2008.
    • Build 10.00.1771: This build was released on October 27, 2008.
    Find all SQL Server 2008 builds that were released after SQL Server 2008 was released

    Hey Moh
    My suggestion it will be good if you can blog the same on this site, get in touch with WEBMASTER to do the same. As I can see the traffic to view blogs on this site is catching up a lot.

    When I downloaded the files, the file name is 370329_intl_i386_zip.exe. Is this also for SQL 2008 64 bit version?

    I don;t think so, it should be X64 or 64 bit platform to download, contact the supprot in this case.

    How do I send an email to MS support about this one? When I follow the contact link in MS support, it requires fee for it even for email support. I haven't done this before. Is there a MS support email address I can use?
