Data Warehouse Engineer (Headsprout - Seattle, WA)

For the last 8 years, we have been helping children learn to read using our learning sciences-based online reading program, Headsprout Early Reading. Every hour of every day, in schools, learning centers, and homes across the country and around the world, children are learning to read with Headsprout.

With over 3 billion learner interactions and counting, our data warehouse is growing at a phenomenal rate and we need more engineers to manage and maintain this critical component of our architecture.

If you're an experienced OLAP developer or programmer who has extensive T-SQL experience then we'd like to hear from you.


REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in T-SQL;
• Solid understanding of OLAP concepts and experience designing OLAP schemas;
• Understanding of OLAP SQL operations such as slice, dice, roll up, etc;
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.
• Fluent in any one of the following web development languages: Python, PHP, Java/JSP, ASP, Ruby, etc.

EDUCATION

B.S. in Computer Science from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of four years of OLAP industry experience.
