We started getting the following error today on a server I just rolled out on Sunday. Autogrow of file 'CMN_PRD_Data' in database 'CMN_PRD' cancelled or timed out after 15594 ms. Use ALTER DATABASE to set a smaller FILEGROWTH or to set a new size. It is set to autogrow 200MB at a time unrestricted. This does not seem like a very large amount to me. There is plenty of room on the disk. Any ideas why this would time out? These databases had been autogrowing on the old server without issue. Have I missed some configuration setting or something?

Check if there are any hardware issues on the server to accomodate the SQL process execution, also check Hemant's link.
