database backup problem

    hello, i want to take a sql server 2005 database backup on task schedule every 1 hour is that possible. please help me out. thanks

    You can use Management studio to:
    1) Using a wizard to create one job with backups and running each hour.
    2) Write your own script and create one job to do the same.

    Definitely Right what Luis said and this is the standard way but Just to to break the ice for junior DBA and to make it easier , I have initiated a series of blogs about how you can administrate your DBs in a single click to do what ever you want to do of backups, rebuild /Re-organize indexes, check integrity, shrink log files to adequate file size , create mail profile , resource governor ....etc All of that in just a single click ...Awesome ..!! Also at the end of this series you will get my new custom ,net developed interface to do all of that easily and quickly if you are not such familiar to SQL Server interfaces or if you are still new newbie for database administration profession
