<P>In the current world of open source programming there are many tools out there that can provide help to you day-to-day tasks.</P><P>But as a professional you will not be inclined to use each and every product that is available free/beta on the market. Similarly for the database scritping SQL Server Management Studio has been enhanced to provide much flexibility to the SQL Server users. Same as to script out and find differences in SQL Server schemas we need a flexible tool to reassemble your scripts and deploy them easily. </P><P>Database Build Tool has been developed by [<SPAN id=ctl00_Content_AboutSidebar_UserNameLabel><A class="" href="http://www.codeplex.com/UserAccount/ContactUser.aspx?ContactUser=mmcquillan&amp;OriginalUrl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.codeplex.com%2fUserAccount%2fUserProfile.aspx%3fUserName%3dmmcquillan" target=_blank mce_href="http://www.codeplex.com/UserAccount/ContactUser.aspx?ContactUser=mmcquillan&amp;OriginalUrl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.codeplex.com%2fUserAccount%2fUserProfile.aspx%3fUserName%3dmmcquillan">mmcquillan</A>] which I have used and helped me to get what I want.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN></SPAN><EM>This tool provides a means of combining the scripts into a single SQL file or have them run against a database in an order you specify. There is also an option for keeping track of which scripts have been applied to a database to help deploy schema changes in a much easier way. <BR></EM></P><P mce_keep="true">Be aware that this tool requires SQL 2005 be installed to make use of the SMO libraries and to download:<BR><BR><IMG class=FileTypeImage id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl00_FileImage style="BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px" alt="Runtime Binary" src="http://www.codeplex.com/Images/RuntimeBinary.gif" align=middle> <A class=FileNameLink id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl00_FileNameLink onclick="return downloadFile(this);" tabIndex=9 href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$Content$TabContentPanel$Content$ReleaseFiles$FileList$ctl00$FileNameLink','')" fileID="23617" fileType="RuntimeBinary">dbb.zip</A> </P><DIV id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_DescriptionUpdatePanel><DIV class=FileListItemDiv id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl00_FileListItemDiv><IMG class=FileTypeImage id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl01_FileImage style="BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px" alt=Documentation src="http://www.codeplex.com/Images/Documentation.gif" align=middle> <A class=FileNameLink id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl01_FileNameLink onclick="return downloadFile(this);" tabIndex=9 href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$Content$TabContentPanel$Content$ReleaseFiles$FileList$ctl01$FileNameLink','')" fileID="23739" fileType="Documentation">dbb Help File</A> </DIV><DIV class=FileListItemDiv id=ctl00_ctl00_Content_TabContentPanel_Content_ReleaseFiles_FileList_ctl01_FileListItemDiv>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV>
