    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I count MVP current and active MVP's here. That's not really that much. All in all, there must be about 120~130 SQL Server MVP's around.

    Oops, missed the number in my last posting. Should read "I count 3 current and active MVP's..."

    Anyway, one doesn't need to be a MVP to be knowledgeable. The MVP award is just a collective thank-you for one's past contributions.

    I think, there are currently over 2,000 MVP's all-in-all worldwide. I don't know the total number of SQL Server MVP's who ever had been. You can only guess the number as each MVP can decide to publish his MVP profile on different levels. I know of one long-time German SQL Server MVP, whose profile you can't see on the MS pages.
