    Hi All,
What effect does Data Execution Prevention have on a dedicated sql 2005 cluster. Current config that I have is a 3 node activeactivepassive cluster. All nodes have DEP turned on for all programs and services. What's the best practice for this setting?
Also, under Memory usage, in the Articles, setting it to "Programs" instead of "System cache" is the best practice, but does this hold true for a cluster as well?

I believe it is on BY DEFAULT from WIn2003 SP1 onwards, there is a difference in how it works in 64 & 32 bit. In 32-bit versions of XP SP2, DEP is a purely software-based technology because current 32-bit microprocessors don't support this feature, although future versions likely will.
    Is yoru environment 64 bit?
