Displaying retried data in SRSS

Hi all,

I'm looking to return certain rows from our db into SRSS based on a date range.

My initial query returns all required fields/rows but, how do I
pull the specific rows, (that are based on a date range that the user enters),
into the report? I've tried expressions, and vb functions to no avail.
