SQL Server Performance

DTS path not available from Jobs

    hi,
    When i run the job ,the step involving DTS(dtsrun /...../..E..) got failed with mesasge '
    "The system cannot find the file specified:"
    Can anyone plz help me why this is happening?
    FYI: I have set the path variable to its BINN directory

    First check the path is set or not...
    Just go to START/RUN/cmd/
    Type PATH hit enter, in the output you should see "C:program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server80ToolsBINN" foler...if you don't see this then the path is not set...You can set the path or you can qualify the dtsrun command with complete path....

    I have set the path before end but still not working.

    To check, can you login to that server remotly and run DTSRUN from command line>

    from command line it is running.
    but not within the jobs
    now what to do?

    Check the account privileges on the server that is used to start SQLAgent service.
