SQL Server Performance

    Hi, iam importing acess data to oracle database using DTS.After it updated 23,854 rows it is just sitting there.Is there any limitation.Any help would be appreciated

    That's an interesting combination you are trying to do. But to answer your question, there is no limination on the number of rows you can move with DTS, so your problem lies elsewhere. You might be better off exporting the data from Access into a text file, and then use Oracle's tools to import the text file, assuming this is one time import. But if this is something you will be doing often, then DTS can be a good option once you figure out your current problem.
