Hi, We have SQL server 2008 R2 where we have both Default instance and Named Instance, with former having primary databases required for the application and the latter with databases that are basically used for custom reports. I need to know, that enabling the Integration services and scheduling around 30 jobs that calls various ssis packages on named instance will affect any performance of my primary databases? Any feedback would be of great help.
Welcome to the forums!. Any activity in one server with 2 or more instances, will impact overall performance. Except jobs running in windows time.
