Error in copying data from Oracle to sql server

    Any solution for this error :

    [Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-28000: the account is locked Error source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers

    This is getting raised in a job which runs daily and pulls data from oracle server and copies into sql server 2000 database.


    Plz help... its urgent!!

    that is probably because someoe changed the password / or somebody wanted to tamper the password and the account was locked. Unlock the account on the Oracle side and you are fine.

    Also check on Windows about login status, that is SQLAgent account as you are trying to schedule this as a job.
