Error on Reports Site -HELP!

I successfully installed SSRS, but I have an error when trying to hit http://localhost/Reports.
First, the page is forcing me to use SSL Secure Page, even though I've unchecked use SSL and restarted.
However, when I try to use httpS, I get the following errors:
The underlying Connection is closed
The remote name could not be resolved.
So, I need details on how to either successfully use a certificate SSL, or disable SSL so, I can use http: without it forcing me to go to a secure web page. Please advise! THX
