SQL Server Performance

ErrorCode=(288)Attempt to release mutex not owned by caller. in sqlserver 2005

    my sqlserver 2005 is installed in the x64 environment and it's patched with the latest version of the cumulative update and i got the version as
    9.0.3228..
    but still i am getting the error
    SQLVDI: Loc=SVDS::Cleanup. Desc=Release(ServerAliveMutex). ErrorCode=(288)Attempt to release mutex not owned by caller.
    . Process=4452. Thread=22392. Server. Instance=. VD=.
    Since the hotfix for this error is the folowing

    but i got latest patch than this article..
    can some one tell me how i have to deal with this one..since the latest version of the cumulative update still showing up this error...

    Sounds like a hardware issue to me, even after looking at internal directory of MS KB articles it refers to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934396/en-us the one, it has been fixed there.
    If you have no avail of resolution then try raising a support case with CSS as you have obtained the latest Cumulative Update hotfix on same way.
