SQL Server Performance

    hi,

    i am using windows 2000 SP4 with MS-SQL 2000 SP4 (130 databases). i am continusly getting below event's in eventlog. i want's know the mening of the logs and also want's stop some event's to log in event Log bcos my application eventlog contains lakhs of these event's on daily basis.

    Event ID: 17055

    18264 :
    Database backed up: Database: auraraj, creation date(time): 2005/03/05(14:49:20), pages dumped: 179, first LSN: 36:42:1, last LSN: 36:44:1, number of dump devices: 1, device information: (FILE=1, TYPE=DISK: {'K:BackupSQL_HRSaurarajauraraj_db_200508191200.BAK'}).

    NEED's TO STOP CREATING EVENT'S
    18454 :
    Login succeeded for user 'ramram'. Connection: Non-Trusted.

    NEED's TO STOP CREATING EVENT'S
    18453 :
    Login succeeded for user 'NT AUTHORITYSYSTEM'. Connection: Trusted.

    17143 :
    SQLServiceControlHandler: Could not set Service Control Status. Operating system error = 6(The handle is invalid.).

    Check the Audit-level on SQL Server, set it to FAILURE in order to log failure events only.
    (Please do not duplicate the posts).

    Event id 17055,18264,18453 and 18454 are sucess audit for backup and login ... so see if you set audit flages for only failour and error and warning and not for information,sucess.
