    Hi All,
As per our need I have created a new filegroup and migrated all the user object from primary to newly created filegroup. Initially the size of the DB was @90 GB now the the size has grown twice of the original one. Now i want to reclaim the space which was used user object on the primary file as there are no user created object on the primary file . How do i get that shall i shrink the primary file? Please suggest.

    Welcom to the forums!
If all objects were moved to new file group, you can shrink the original one to get space.
