Is there a way to disable flood control for users who had posted more than n posts? Is Satya/Mohammed etc already have a relaxed flood control threshold ? Roji. P. Thomas SQL Server MVP http://toponewithties.blogspot.com

Roji,
the flood control is configurable for common users. IIRC it doesn't apply in Snitz to posters with a mod status.

...but I like the idea. Yes I looked the other day at the post count and those guys sure are dueling it out! Won't share the post numbers now but they are big (Satya was just in the lead...)
FloodControl setup on my browser is set to 0 [][].
On other side I can see this as a prosperous growth of SSP.[^]

quote:
Originally posted by Roji. Satya is joking. Flood control in Snitz can only be set up by members of the forum admin group. Typically this is 30 seconds before the next post can be made. However, this time constraint does not apply for moderators. -- Frank Kalis Moderator Microsoft SQL Server MVP Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de
Flood control should not be applied to Junior Moderators like me [][]

MohammedU.
Moderator
SQL-Server-Performance.com

All postings are provided “AS IS†with no warranties for accuracy.
You said so, just kidding on the aspect of Roji's joy []

Tip: Every now and then keep an eye on 'Active Topics' to get you quicker view.
[^]
quote:

Satya is joking.
