    Hi there,

    This is Jagdish here,
We have DELL PowerEdge Server with Intel Pentium D Processor with 1 GB RAM running on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.
Our Database having 2GB of MDF file.
we have around 20 simulteneous connections to this server.
We are frequently facing the problem of slow down of application.
Can any one suggest how much physical memory should our system have or any other solution for slow down problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jagdish Darekar.

Not a big system to worry, but you need to leave the memory settings to Dynamic on SQL Server.

Also addup more memory in this case say addup another 1gb to the server.

Also you need to find out why the performance has gone down by using PROFILER for slow running queries and PERFMON for system resources usage.
