   hi every one,
   we have a production database having 50 tables, each conating 200000 records.
   how much time is needed for the exec "sp_updatestats" operation to complete.
   u r help is appreciated

   it depends on number of indexes per table, CPU performance.
   i expect in average 25 minute

   I would say very hard to say what kind of processes/scheduled jobs are running at the time and also depends upon the memory & CPU of the server.
