Hi Geeks, Thanks for reading my post I am new to the scene, and I have got 4 years of experience in SQL development / SQL programming and .net programming. I have found Database being my strenght over .net, and I want to get into Database exclusively. How can I do it, I am started to learn the Database Administration part and grooming. What should I learn / practice to bring myself a true dedicated Database GURU. I believe Database Dev and Admin would not allow to market myself, so I am not someone who would want to be limited with it. If there would be a necessity / demand if I learn, SSIS, SSAS , SSRS along with datawarehousing I would like to take it without a shadow of a doubt. shoot your answers, as this would be a turning point for me. Thanks, AB
Hi Antionio, this is too general a question for the forums. I'd suggest starting off with some online tutorials - a good starting point is http://www.brentozar.com/sql/becoming-a-dba/
